Non Profit Work

We are proud to have been able to participate in the F1 Web Challenge - an overnight website programming competition where a team of programmers were randomly paired with a non-profit to work together to build a website for their organization. As the F1Challenge website states, "We will all donate 24 hours to build complete websites for 11 Minnesota non-profit organizations — everyone wins, but we all lose sleep". Our team was Ruby.MN and our non-profit was Little Brothers - Friends of the Elderly.

Localtone Interactive in conjunction with Localtone Systems has released Localtone Radio!

Localtone Radio is what we call user contributed radio. A radio station where the listeners contribute the content and vote on what should be played. The radio station automatically adjust the rotation and the playlist of the songs based on the votes from the users. Localtone Radio does podcasts and promotes local bands in the Twin Cities.

The radio radio station is a new and creative idea in interactive media and one that we are proud to have envisioned, developed and deployed.
